What to expect:
Double Eagle is not your typical, ordinary golf and safari tour company – we go so much further and offer so much more. We offer a unique blend of niche experiences – combining golf with specialist birding, wildlife, and photography in a classy way:
- You won’t merely play golf at great courses; you will play them with a legend of the game – one of the most successful golfers Africa has ever produced. Mark will host you, offer golf advice and a lesson (only if you want), and relate great stories from a lifetime of professional golf.
- You won’t merely visit national parks and game reserves; you will explore these and other great settings with the purpose of viewing their special and endemic species, while being led by an expert birding and wildlife guide. Michael will lead you into real hotspots and breath-takingly biodiverse landscapes, discovered from decades of travel and exploration;
- You will stay in carefully selected accommodation – from fine golf villas to intimate boutique hotels, lodges and guesthouses all in amazing settings;
- You will savour quality cuisine and choice drink from start to finish;
- You will travel in comfort and safety in classy vehicles;
- You will experience all of this in small groups of no more than 14 guests (plus your 2 golfer/nature guides) – a total group size of 16 people maximum.
Mark McNulty

Mark McNulty is one of Southern Africa’s finest ever golfers, having featured in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 83 weeks from 1987 to 1992.
Mark has so far racked up 59 professional tour wins, and achieved a highest ranking of no. 6 in the world on 18 October 1987. He was also one of the leading players on the European Tour from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, and is regarded as one of the finest putters of all time……
Michael Wright is a passionate naturalist, conservationist and adventurer who loves birding, walking trails and photography.
Michael is a registered professional in natural science, ecotourism, nature and bird tour guiding, with more than 20 years of industry experience. He has travelled extensively through Southern Africa and North America, and further to his great passion for birds; he also enjoys golf, animal behaviour, butterflies, herping and trees…….

We Give Back
As a responsible tourism company, Double Eagle are focused on exceptional and great value experiences that give back. We run a philanthropic fund that donates a % of profits to both golf development and conservation NGOs. We also run a project that builds bird hides on select golf courses, to foster interest and care for birders amongst golfers and club members.
